Associated Employers (AE) is a voluntary, non-profit employers’ resource association dedicated to filling the human resource, safety and employee benefit needs of its members since 1916.

AE provides management support in all areas of the employer/employee relationship and serves as a central source of information and data on a wide variety of employer management needs as directed by the ever-changing regulatory and economic environment. AE’s experienced, and professional staff is well equipped to assist its diverse membership consisting of large and small businesses and organizations.

AE is one of the oldest employer associations in the country and provides members with various services to promote a positive employer/employee relationship.

HR Hotline – AE staff is available for members that need immediate assistance with potential problems or just to answer questions concerning your employees. A call to AE first, before making a major employment decision, has the potential of saving you hours of time and substantial dollars.

Payroll & Research - AE provides payroll processing services to any size business. This service is individualized to fit your business. AE research department also surveys and compiles salary and benefit data for members that allows them to determine their competitive position in the labor market. AE also can provide members with a professionally administered, custom designed employee opinion survey which includes analysis of results and follow-up consultation.

Training & Development - AE conducts many public programs throughout Montana & Wyoming for employers on subjects relevant to today’s business environment. All of the programs can be customized for individual members for on-site presentations.

Group Benefits - AE can assist and provide member businesses with a wide variety of comprehensive group benefits for employers and their employees. We utilize the “Group Pooling” approach to provide members with cost containment and or discounts. Programs may be subject to eligibility requirements.

Safety Services - Montana Safety Services Council - MSSC was established in 1993 as an affiliate of AE. MSSC is a non-profit educational association created to provide safety and health related services.
